Hello, Bookworm Buddies. Today, I am reviewing a cute and wholesome read called “I Knew He Was Trouble” by Amanda Schimmoeller. It was a refreshing and light read after a heavy mystery/thriller, or if you are having a reading slump. Also, if you are a Taylor Swift fan, you are going to love this book. Because, as you can see, the title of the book is inspired by her song and in the book, FMC and her friends are huge Taylor Swift fans!

Characters: (10/10)
The characters were really awesome, and I really liked both main characters. I also liked the friendship between the female lead and her friends. Also, there was a cute edition of Evie, our male lead’s niece and Winston, our FMC’s dog. Also, the male lead’s aunt & sister were also cool. In short, all characters were quite lovable and wholesome except the female lead’s mother. I liked the bond between the FMC and the elders at the elder care facility.
Atmosphere: (10/10)
It is set in a town or city where our leads are neighbours. Also, the atmosphere of the whole neighbourhood and the elder care facility was quite nice and wholesome.
Writing: (10/10)
I really liked the writing. The banter between the main leads was perfect, and also the questions from Evie were hilarious. It was a perfect romantic comedy.
Plot: (10/10)
The plot was good, and nothing complicated happened in the plot. It’s a story about a girl living with her friends who hates her next-door neighbour because he blasts his annoying music early in the morning, disturbing her beauty sleep. But one day, that same annoying but hot neighbour comes for help and asks her & her friends to be nannies for his niece. Having free time with her, she agrees to be a nanny, and now she has to see this annoying & hot neighbour every day.
Intrigue: (10/10)
It kept my interest, and I didn’t lose attention at any time; it was a highly entertaining book.
Logic: (10/10)
I would not want to change anything in the story; it was perfectly written.
Enjoyment: (10/10)
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all who love a good rom-com. It also has cozy fall vibes, so it’s perfect for the fall season.
